1. Stationery Obsession
Collecting stickers, decorative pens, those cute animal erasers, and the panic of buying maps on Sunday night for the Monday exams. For us, stamp markers were the real flex in class. All of it hit differently.
2. Dabbing Everywhere
2016-17 was the 'Dab' era. Suddenly, every kid, cricket player, dancer started dabbing. That was nothing but a simple move, but it made us feel like the coolest people alive back then.
3. Tent Houses with Bedsheets
The ultimate desi childhood memory is making a tent out of bedsheets, chairs, and pillows. No AC, No Wi-Fi, but hiding inside with cousins felt like an adventure into a secret world.
4. Slap Bracelets
That snap sound was good music to our ears. Collecting colorful slap bands and competing over whose was cooler was a big deal.
5. DVDs
Netflix wasn't a thing back then. Remember, we had DVDs with multiple Disney movies, poems, and video songs? That funky Disney CD player was a pure joy.
6. Segway Dreams
Not everyone had one, but we all definitely tried riding a friend's or saw videos of kids zooming around on them. For our parents, it was just 'Faltu ka Khilona, jo hamara Hath tod dega' gadget.

Slime was everyone's guilty pleasure. It was so addictive and oddly satisfying. It became every kid's stress buster.

Spinners were literally a flex toy. We just wanted to show off tricks with it.
9. Mobile Games
Before PUBG and BGMI took over, our childhood was filled with games like Mario on TV video games, GTA Vice City on a family PC, and Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja, Hill Climb Racing on old Samsung phones.
10. Iconic Music Playlists
Every Gen Z teen had that playlist: Vidya Vox mashups, DJ Snake's Lean On, Justin Bieber's Let Me Love You, On & On by Cartoon blasting through Bluetooth speakers.
